WSGA ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM

WSGA's Environmental Stewardship Award in partnership with the Wyoming Department of Agriculture recognizes Wyoming cattlemen whose natural resource stewardship practices  contribute to the environment and enhance productivity and profitability.

Each year a different Wyoming ranch is chosen for these qualities after applying. By the ranches choice, a day will be set aside during the summer to celebrate Wyoming's for most land stewards: ranchers.

Program Partners

The Wyoming Leopold Conservation Award is given as part of the Wyoming Stock Growers Environmental Stewardship Award Program where both recognize a winning ranch for their hard work and dedication to voluntary conservation.  Both awards are given each year to the winning ranch and we are proud of the great number of Wyoming ranchers and their operations that have been showcased through this program. This dedication sets an example of outstanding land management to landowners across Wyoming and the United States.
